So if I don't answer your query, it's not because I don't want to. Please also note that I do not, never have and never will work for NEC. I do not work for any company that services NECs. I am not and never will be responsible for the machine, so don't take your frustration out on me. This page is here purely and solely so that information I or other people have found out is available for use.

Please note I currently do not have any of the drivers for the computer online. I expect to be able to put up a mirror site sometime in the next few weeks. That said, the Ready is a dinosaur and has been pretty much since it was originally built. If you have anything other than minor software problems with it, I would strongly recommend replacing it with something a little newer. I know I have.

Faxing. Too bad Word'95 and WinFaxPro 7 suck in producing output in comparison to Final Writer and GPFax on the Amiga!
Running as my fax/answering machine, web server and FTP server. It has in the past acted as an IRC server, telnetd, mail server and general communications controller. Well, hey, it's not slow -- it's just Windows @%#$% slow interface that makes it almost unbearable. It also acts as my internet gateway.
